Spending my rebate out tomorrow for my $20 Publix gift card.
There is a booklet at Publix right now call SUMMER STORM Savings Guide. Not only does this awesome booklet contain Publix coupons but the is a mail in rebate for a $20 Publix gift card. My store had a big display with the booklets and products in front of the registers.
Here is the list of ConAgra I bought for the $25 to qualify for part one of the rebate. These are the prices at my local store, your store prices may vary
This gave me a total purchase of $50.93 with $26.97 in ConAgra Products at Publix before coupons.

CVS Fun Time
I totally scored at CVS this week! I spent only $0.52 OOP including taxes! Granted I had a little stock pile of ECBs from last week but it still was a great purchase and a wonderful trip. Here is what I got:
1 gallon of T. G. Lee Milk $3.69
There is a $1/1 printable coupon and $1 ECB
Equals $1.69
2 Crest Pro Health Rinse $4.50 each
There is a $2/1 coupon in this week’s P&G coupon flyer and $2.50 ECB
Equals FREE
2 Colgate MaxFresh SmartFoam $2.79 each
There is a $0.75 coupon in this weeks SS and $2 ECB
Equals $0.04 each
1 Excedrin Extra Strength 8ct $.99
$.99 ECB my store was short on supply so I only got one.
Equals Free
I used $13 ECBs from before which brought my total to -$.24 before taxes for a total of $.52 and got $12 ECBs back. According to the receipt I saved $23.58 and all I paid was taxes. So my savings was over 98%
I love that I only lost $1ECB this can be very difficult to keep the same amount of ECBs each week with out spending a lot out of pocket.
If you don’t have ECBs it is still good to do this but I would buy one set of Crest Rinse and Toothpaste and then use the ECBs on the second set. Your OOP should be less than $5 and you will have $4.50 in ECB for next week.
Good luck on your shopping trips!

CVS trip week of 5/22 Saved over $100
I had a great time shopping at CVS this week. I made 2 trips because I was only focused on the laundry detergent the first trip. We all know laundry detergent can be an evil and expensive thing but it is a necessity. Purex puts out great coupons and goes on great sales!
Here are my goodies:
Total Saved: $124.59
ECB remaining: $18
I saved almost 90%. Sadly I did not have that many ECB to start the week but I am ready for next week.
Does not show everything but some things given away to family.
Here are my goodies:
- 7 bottles of purex
- 6 bottles of Revlon nail polish
- 1 L bottle of Listerine (not on sale but DH wanted it)
- 1 Gallon of Milk
- 1 Rimmel powder blush
- 1 pack of stride gum
- 2 single serve Crystal Light mixes
- 2 Banana Boat sunscreens
- 1 Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen
- One Green Bag Tag
Total Saved: $124.59
ECB remaining: $18

Lets Go Lightning
<3 Like I said I LOVE hockey. <3 I am life-long Detroit Red Wings fan and my all-time favorite player is Steve Yzerman. Alas I live in Tampa Bay and the Lightning is the home team and in a different conference from the Wings. So the Wings only come into town every other year for one game.
I was very excited last summer when the news was announced the Yzerman was coming to the Lightning to be VP and GM! He and the coach Guy Boucher have done an amazing job turning the Lightning into an amazing team this season. My DH and I had the great pleasure of going to game Game 6 against Boston Bruins at the St Pete Times Forum and it was an amazing game and so much fun.
Tonight is game 7 and I can't wait. Who ever wins this game goes on to play Vancouver for the Stanley Cup.
No matter the outcome the team has been great this season and I believe that great things will come as Yzerman and Boucher help continue to build a great time.
GO BOLTS!
